Man Injured In Shooting On Hope Street: Stamford Police

Police said a 21-year-old man was shot on Sunday afternoon on Hope Street. He was treated at Stamford Hospital and released.

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford police are investigating a shooting that occurred in broad daylight Sunday afternoon in the Glenbrook section of the city.

Capt. Richard Conklin of the Stamford Police Department said at around 1:50 p.m. on the 300 block of Hope Street on Feb. 13, a 21-year-old city resident suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the buttocks.

The man was taken to Stamford Hospital where he was treated and released, Conklin said.

Coinklin added that there's no indication yet on how many people were involved in the shooting, or what caused it.

"The victim isn't overly cooperative. We're trying to locate additional witnesses and look in the area for security video," Conklin said.
