Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash, ID Released: Stamford Police
The crash occurred Friday night, and police said speed may have been a factor.

STAMFORD, CT — A 23-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash Friday night at Scalzi Park, according to the Stamford Police Department. The man was identified as Oscar Chinchilla-Najarro, a Stamford resident.
Police said the crash occurred at approximately 11:08 p.m., on Bridge Street.
The initial investigation found that Chinchilla-Najarro was driving a 2001 Kawasaki dirt bike around an outer roadway of the park when he lost control, mounted the curb and crashed along the guardrail on the east side of the park.

Chinchilla-Najarro was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said speed may have been a factor in the crash.
An investigation remains open, and anyone with more information is being asked to contact the SPD's Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad at 203-977-4712.
