Man Shot, Killed In Stamford, 'Person Of Interest' Sought: Police
Police said they responded after reports of multiple gunshots.

STAMFORD, CT — A 39-year-old man was shot and killed at a Stamford apartment complex late Wednesday night, according to police. Officers responded to Montauk Avenue around 11 p.m. after receiving reports of "multiple gunshots" being heard in the area, police said Thursday morning.
Police say officers found Torrick Johnson laying in the back of the complex. Police said he was "the victim of multiple gunshots."
He was transported to Stamford Hospital, where he died due to his injuries, police said.

Police said the incident is under investigation, and a "person of interest" has been developed. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the department's Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 203-977-4420.
