STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons on Monday released her administration's year-end report, highlighting some of the key initiatives undertaken during her third year as the city's chief elected official.

"Three years ago, I had the privilege of being sworn in as the Mayor of Stamford. Since then, my team and I have been working hard to implement policies and initiatives that support my vision of building a city that is more equitable, inclusive, innovative, and a place where everyone can thrive," Simmons wrote in a letter that was included in the report.

"Together, we have made substantial progress toward that vision. Our work is rooted in our commitment to three priorities: investing in our city’s infrastructure, advancing economic prosperity, and making government more responsive to enhance quality of life for residents."
