MLK Day Of Service Planned At UConn-Stamford

STAMFORD, CT — The community is invited to come out for the MLK Day of Service on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Stamford.

There will be various service projects to participate in, such as:

  • Writing letters to the troops
  • Military collection drive (Operation Gratitude)
  • Valentine's cards for seniors
  • Children's book drive for a local organization
  • Color-a-smile coloring sheet
  • Friendship bracelets for HALO
  • Kindness rocks for the community

Located at 1194 Washington Blvd., there will be free parking and light refreshments.
