Mom Says Stamford School Bus Dropped Child Off At Wrong Stop: Report
The mother said the incident happened on the first day of school. On the second day, the bus got into a collision, according to News 12 CT.
STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford mother said her 5-year-old daughter's school bus dropped her off at the wrong stop on the first day of school, and then the bus was involved in a minor collision the following day, according to a report from News 12 CT.
Asia James told News 12 her daughter, Ava, went to Northeast Elementary School on Monday, and on the way home, the school bus dropped her off four blocks away where she was eventually picked up by a family friend who spotted the young girl crying, News 12 said. The girl had walked a couple blocks in the wrong direction.
The next day, the bus Ava was on was involved in a minor collision, according to News 12. No injuries were reported.
