More Antisemitic Vandalism Found At Stamford School: Officials
This is the second time in a little over two weeks antisemitic vandalism has been found at the school.

STAMFORD, CT — Antisemitic and white supremacist vandalism was discovered at the Academy of Information Technology and Engineering (AITE) in Stamford Sunday morning, according to local officials.
This is the second time in a little over two weeks the campus has been vandalized.
Swastikas and a racial slur were found spray painted at the school on July 26, and the incidents appear to be related, Mayor Caroline Simmons, Stamford Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Tamu Lucero, and Stamford Board of Education President Jackie Heftman said in a joint statement.

The Stamford Police Department is currently investigating.
"While there are existing cameras at this site, to curtail future acts of this nature, the City of Stamford will be working with SPD and Stamford Public Schools to add enhanced surveillance at the AITE campus," Simmons, Lucero and Heftman said in a statement.

The officials noted that while there's no indication a member of the school community committed the "hate-filled vandalism," the act will not be tolerated.
"We want to state once again that antisemitism, hate speech, bullying, or the dissemination of any symbols associated with hate are not tolerated in Stamford Public Schools and the City of Stamford," the officials said, adding the investigations will continue until the perpetrators are identified and "held criminally liable for their actions."
"Everyone in our community deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and acceptance, and we need your help to bring an end to this egregious behavior," the officials added.
Anyone with more information, including photos or comments shared on social media about the incident, should contact the Stamford Police Department.
This is now the fourth such incident at AITE within the past year. Swastikas were found on a curbside at the campus and on the school's tennis courts last October.
