New Report of 'Shots Fired' In Stamford: Police
The incident occurred just days after police received a report of shots fired in the city over the weekend.

STAMFORD, CT — Police received reports of shots fired on Rose Park Avenue late Monday evening, just days after three vehicles parked in Stamford were damaged by gunfire.
Stamford police Lt. Tom Scanlon said the shots were reported by an area resident just before 11 p.m. Officers later located five shell casings in the area, Scanlon said.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the department's Major Crimes Unit at 203-977-4417.
On Sunday, police received reports of three vehicles damaged by gunfire. According to Stamford police Capt. Richard Conklin, forensic investigators later recovered 10 shell casings from the street.

Conklin said Monday afternoon he was unsure what led up to the gunfire and officers were "trying to [locate] some video footage" of the area.
