Murder Suspects to Appear in Killing of Stamford Man Case

It will be the first time the suspects appear in court after being indicted on murder charges.

STAMFORD, CT — Murder suspects James Rackover and Lawrence Dilione are scheduled to appear in court Tuesday for the first time since both were indicted with murder charges in the New York City killing of Stamford native Joseph Comunale.

The two suspects had bail rescinded after being charged with murder last month, according to the Stamford Advocate. Previously Dilione was free on a $300,000 bond. The two were initially charged with hindering prosecution, concealing a corpse and tampering with evidence.

Police contend Comunale was killed in November following an argument over cigarettes following a night of partying in New York City.
