New Fall Art, Music, Dance Classes Offered at Darien Arts Center

Registration is open for Darien Arts Center fall classes for all ages in dance, visual arts and music. Fall classes begin in September. To register for classes, visit darienarts.org or call (203) 655-8683. The DAC is located at 2 Renshaw Road, behind the Town Hall.

DANCE: The DAC Dance Academy offers students the opportunity to train in one of the finest dance spaces in Fairfield County. Offering superior year-round training in a nurturing and creative environment, DACDA offers classes to students ages 3 to 18 and also has an Adult Class Program. In addition to the academy’s matriculated pre-professional ballet training program with traineeships and apprenticeships that lead to the company, DACDA also offers classes in contemporary, partnering, Hip Hop, lyrical, jazz, and Broadway dance. Students are trained by a staff of professional dancers and seasoned educators. Fall classes run from September 3 through January 18, 2025. Tuition is $490. MUSIC: The DAC music program includes private lessons for both adults and children in piano, flute, harp, saxophone, percussion, string instruments and guitar, or voice lessons.
NEW: Middle School Musical Theatre Audition Prep Workshop, This exciting new 5-session workshop, begins on September 11 at 7:15pm.
VISUAL ARTS: Classes and workshops for children and adults include painting, drawing, cartooning, and crafty projects for kids at Naya, and adult workshops that include acrylic pours and wreath making. Students practice in the spacious DAC Visual Arts Studio.
