New Starbucks Location Planned For Stamford

The new Starbucks is expected to open in the same complex as other highly-anticipated food establishments.

STAMFORD, CT — Starbucks is planning on opening up a new store in Stamford next to two other highly-anticipated food establishments.

The new location will be at 64 High Ridge Road in the same development that will feature Shake Shack and Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana. The complex is currently under construction.

Starbucks said the store will open in spring 2024. It's unclear when the other businesses will open.

"Starbucks is always looking for great locations to better meet the needs of our customers, and we are happy to confirm that we will be opening a new location at 64 High Ridge Road in Stamford, CT during the spring of 2024," a Starbucks spokesperson said in a statement to Patch.

There are currently Starbucks stores at 288 West Ave., 1079 High Ridge Road, and within Target at 21 Broad St., in Stamford. The store at 2139 Summer St., is temporarily closed for renovations, according to Starbucks.

"As a standard course of business, we continually evaluate our store portfolio, using various criteria to ensure we are meeting the needs of our customers. We are happy to confirm that our store at 2139 Summer Street in Stamford, CT is currently undergoing a standard renovation, and will reopen in the fall of 2023. The store will reopen with [a] refreshed design," a Starbucks spokesperson said.
