Stamford Downtown originally put a call out for abstract, nonfigurative digital artwork from artists in February. Since then, 123 submissions were received, and a jury comprised of Stamford Downtown board members and members of the Stamford business community reviewed and selected five designs based on quality, creativity, diversity and practicality.
The selected artists include Nancy Anderson and Michael Lombardo of Creative Insight, Jessica Mateo, Aisha Nailah and Jahmane West. The artists were paid a $1,500 honorarium for their designs.
