NFL Player Rob Gronkowski Visits Cisco Brewers In Stamford

STAMFORD, CT —Football fans might've seen a few familiar faces in Stamford last weekend.

Rob Gronkowski, along with former New England Patriots teammates Shane Vereen and Niko Koutouvides, spent Sunday afternoon at Cisco Brewers at The Village in the South End of Stamford prior to the NFL Alumni CT Chapter Charity Golf Classic at the Country Club of Darien.

NFL Alumni is a 501c(3), non-profit organization made up of former professional football players, owners, coaches, administrators and cheerleaders who have joined together to support youth charities.

Gronkwoski, also simply known as "Gronk," began his hall of fame career with the Patriots in 2010. He spent nine season in New England, earning five Pro Bowl appearances and winning three Super Bowls.

For the past three seasons, Gronkowski played with Tom Brady for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The duo won a Super Bowl in 2021.

Gronkowski hasn't committed yet to playing in the upcoming season, but Brady said he's hopeful Gronkowski will come back for another year in a recent interview on NFL.com.

Cisco Brewers recently reopened for the season in a new and improved space.

A stage has been constructed to host musical performances. There is also a custom art installation by artist Brandon Cruz, depicting the visualization of creation and the moment a concept becomes a reality.

A signature Cisco merchandise hut has also been added, featuring classic staples like hoodies and tees, as well as dog toys, long sleeved tees, hats, koozies and more.

Founded near Cisco Beach in Nantucket in 1995, Cisco Brewers has gained a cult-like following across the Northeast. Cisco opened its first Connecticut location at The Village in May 2021.
