North Stamford Man Joins Investment Advisory Firm

Former chief financial offer Maurice Cabral has joined the Stamford investment firm.

5th Street Advisors, a fee-based SEC registered investment advisory firm in Stamford, has announced Maurice A. Cabral has joined the firm as an investment advisor representative.

Previously employed as Chief Financial Officer for Lake Partners, Cabral was responsible for all client reporting, accounting, trading, compliance, and control functions for the Stamford firm. Cabral has more than 25 years experience in international banking. He earned a business administration degree from the University of Connecticut and is a registered investment advisor and licensed life and health insurance agent.

A Stamford resident for more than 30 years, Cabral is a board member of the Connecticut Yankee Council, Boy Scouts of America, and has been named a Home Town Hero by Channel 12 for his extensive volunteer work in the community. He and his wife Maggie live in North Stamford.
