Registration Open for Stamford Rec After School Program

Stamford Recreation Services is offering a brand new after school program at the Recreation Star Center, located at 1170 Shippan Avenue.

The “After School Club” will be offered each day Stamford Public Schools are in session from 2:45PM-5:30PM. Children in grades K-5 will be provided with both unstructured time to play inside in the gym or outside on the playground and structured time to complete homework, participate in arts and crafts or play games. The department worked with the Board of Education to ensure transportation from nearby schools is provided to the Star Center: Catholic Elementary Schools, Charter School of Excellence, Hart Magnet School, KT Murphy, Rogers International School, Strawberry Hill School, Toquan School and Westover Magnet School.

• DATES: August 30, 2018 – June 14, 2019, Monday-Friday (Follows Stamford Public School Schedule)
• TIMES: 2:45PM-5:30PM
• FEES*:
• 3 Days a Week: $190 per month
• 4 Days a Week $220 per month
• 5 Days a Week: $245 per month

Registration is currently open, with a limited number of spaces available for the inaugural 2018-2019 school year. Residents may complete registration online or in person at the Stamford Recreation Services office located at Government Center.
