STAMFORD, CT — Due to rain and snow in the forecast this morning, public schools in Stamford have been closed for the day.
A winter weather advisory is in effect until 1 p.m. Rain is expected to turn to snow starting after 7 a.m. Up to 2 inches of snow is expected.
Residents should plan on slippery road conditions during the morning commute as temperatures dip below freezing.
