Several Street Closures Announced For Upcoming Half Marathon In Stamford

Drivers should expect brief delays and are encouraged to plan ahead if traveling in the area during the event.

STAMFORD, CT — Temporary road closures and traffic impacts are expected in Stamford on Sunday, April 19, as the Stamford Run Club hosts a half marathon, 10K and 5K race.

Roads are expected to be impacted between 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

  • Clinton Avenue
  • Rippowam Place
  • Relay Place
  • North Street
  • West Broad Street
  • Linden Place
  • Court Street
  • West Washington Avenue
  • Washington Court
  • Hollywood Court
  • Renwick Street
  • Vernon Place

Washington Boulevard will be limited to southbound traffic only between Bridge Street and Tresser Boulevard, according to a notice from police to residents and business owners.

Police officers and event staff will be stationed along the route to direct traffic, and local access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
