"We really, really need to make sure that we understand this opportunity and respect this parking lot. Saint Leo's Parish didn't need to do this for us, but they did, so please make sure that you monitor yourselves and you respect this lot," said WHS Principal Michael Rinaldi in a YouTube video. "This is only for our students who hold current Westhill High School parking permits."
Additionally, all Westhill students qualify for free school bus transportation.

"We strongly encourage students to use this service to ease traffic congestion," officials said in a recent announcement.
Rinaldi thanked Stamford Director of Operations Matt Quinones, who is overseeing the new school project, for his work.
Officials also extended thanks to Most Reverend Frank J. Caggiano, Bishop of the Diocese of Bridgeport, and Father Javier Nieva, Pastor of St. Leo's Parish.
"We are also grateful to the City and Board of Education officials and legal staff who have worked over the past few months to bring this agreement to fruition," an announcement said. "We hope this arrangement helps ease concerns by providing a nearby parking solution for students while also helping to alleviate neighborhood traffic during the construction period."
Students recently circulated a petition requesting that the district push back the start of construction on the new $446 million project, which is scheduled to begin on April 1, to after the school year.
Stamford Public Schools is currently on spring break and will return on April 13.
