Skateboarding City Teen in Critical Condition After Being Struck by Minivan
Stamford Police are seeking witnesses to the Monday evening accident.

A 17-year-old Stamford boy was critically injured when he was struck by a minivan as he skateboarded on Willowbrook Avenue in the city’s Cove neighborhood Monday evening.
Stamford Police are seeking witnesses to the 5:23 p.m. crash that involved a driver and his passenger who both fled the scene, according to WFSB. The teen reportedly was dragged by the minivan for a distance before the vehicle hit a stone wall and a tree.
Police caught the suspects with the help of witnesses. The driver, identified as Ramon Martinez-Urbina, 28, is being held on $500,000 bond and the passenger, Alejandro Estrada, 20, was held on $25,000 bond.
