STAMFORD, CT — July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Stamford so you can start planning now.

What: 2019 Stamford Independence Day Firework Celebration

Where: Cummings Park

When: Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 6 p.m. (rain date: Sunday, July 7)

Summary: The City of Stamford will be hosting the 2019 Stamford Independence Day Firework Celebration on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in Cummings Park. The rain date for the event will be on Sunday, July 7.

The festivities will begin at 6 p.m., while the fireworks show will begin promptly at 9 p.m.

There will be food trucks on site as well as souvenirs for sale. No glass bottles or personal fireworks will be permitted at the event.
