STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford business recently sold a $50,000-winning scratch-off ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
A New Haven resident won the big prize after playing the $2,000,000 Jackpot scratch-off game, which was purchased from Happy House General Store at 501 Glenbrook Road.

According to the Connecticut Lottery website, the ticket costs $20 and the grand prize is a $2 million annuity. There are just nine $50,000 winners out of nearly 2.5 million tickets of the game.
