Stamford Businessman Is Named to Magazine's '40 Under 40' List

Connecticut Magazine has released its Class of 2015 honoring young business people, athletes, community leaders, artists.

A Stamford businessman has been named to Connecticut Magazine’s annual 40 Under 40 list.

The list honors the “best and brightest among Generation Next include philanthropists, artists, community leaders, athletes, educators and entrepreneurs—all nominated by friends, family, coworkers, admirers and Connecticut Magazine editors,” according to the magazine.

Thirty-two-year-old Conor Horrigan hails from Litchfield and he’s the owner of Stamford’s Half Full Brewery located on Homestead Avenue.

According to the magazine, here’s why he’s on the list:

Horrigan walked away from an unrewarding Wall Street job to open Stamford’s Half Full Brewery, a beer company dedicated to reminding people to look on the sunny side of life. Today, his company works to support other entrepreneurs and dreamers to spread good beer and good cheer far and wide.
