Stamford Cop Arrested After Domestic Violence Incident: Report
A 23-year veteran of the Stamford Police Department turned himself in on a warrant this morning, according to police.

STAMFORD, CT — A 23-year Stamford Police officer, George Jagodzinski, turned himself in on an arrest warrant Thursday in connection to a domestic violence incident, which occurred Nov. 12 at a downtown bar, the Stamford Advocate reports.
Patch has reached out to Acting Police Chief Tom Wuennemann for further information, who could not immediately be reached for comment.
Police said Jagodzinski is accused of pushing a woman he had previously dated, causing her to fall on the floor, the Stamford Advocate reports. Jagodzinski was placed on modified duty and was forced to turn in all his weapons, police said.
