'Stamford Dances Downtown' Event Set For Aug. 7

Attendees are asked to bring their own chairs. Admission is free but registration is requested.

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Dances Downtown, a free event from Stamford Downtown, will take place in Mill River Park on Aug. 7 at 7 p.m.

Now in its third year, Thomas/Ortiz Dance will perform, with opening acts from Stamford-based dance schools and ethnic companies celebrating world culture. The opening acts include East Coast Contemporary Ballet, Ballet School of Stamford and Pender-Keady Academy of Irish Dancing.

Attendees are asked to bring their own chairs. Admission is free but registration is requested.
