Stamford Design Firm DEANE Names New Sales Director

The firm's master kitchen-bath designer will lead its sales efforts.

Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer Terry Scarborough of DEANE, Inc., in Stamford and New Canaan, has been promoted to the Director of Sales.

Terry has been the recipient of many local and regional design awards and most recently named Chapter Medalist, the highest honor granted by the Connecticut chapter of ASID. As an award winner and go-to source in the design industry, Terry has spoken about kitchen trends to community organizations in Fairfield County, including various real estate groups, Connecticut AIA events, and at magazine-sponsored events.

“2015 will be Terry’s 20th year with DEANE, Inc. and we are thrilled she is part of our team” says President Pete Deane. “She brings an abundance of expertise and experience from the design industry that will be vital to the success of this position. This is an exciting time for DEANE, Inc.”

Terry is widely trusted in kitchen design and has been a mentor to students from area design schools, as well as trained and accomplished designers interested in specializing in kitchens. With her work recognized in national and regional publications, and her history as a former teacher, Terry’s passion for education and professional improvement will bring her role as Director of Sales to new heights.
