Beginning this week, the Stamford Health logo will light up with a different color each night to honor first responders and others.
STAMFORD, CT — Beginning this week, the Stamford Health logo on top of Stamford Hospital on the Bennett Medical Center campus will light up with a different color each night, the hospital announced Tuesday. The display is meant to honor first responders, military personnel, community partners, and government officials, both in Stamford and nearby communities, as they help combat the spread of the new coronavirus, hospital officials said.
The schedule of colors include:
- Monday - Blue (police department)
- Tuesday - Red (fire department)
- Wednesday - White (emergency medical services)
- Thursday - Green (military)
- Friday - Purple (community-based partners)
- Saturday & Sunday - Yellow (all community)
Hospital officials also encourage residents to share photos of the display with the hashtag #stamfordstrong and to tag @stamfordhealth.
