Stamford Issues Decision on Classes for Monday

The winter storm has impacted the decision on whether classes will be held on Monday.

With a winter storm starting to drop snow on Stamford, city public schools announced that classes are cancelled for Monday, Feb. 2.

Trinity Catholic High School also will be closed.

Also, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy is urging residents to take it slow and, if possible, avoid travel during the height of the storm on Monday morning.

Malloy also has directed the activation of the state’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) at 4 a.m. Monday to monitor conditions across the state and quickly coordinate any assistance that may be necessary.
