The man accused of fatally beating his mother in their home is not mentally able to participate in the trial, according to a report.

The Stamford man accused of murdering his mother after she confronted him for not taking his psychological medications reportedly has been found to be incompetent to stand trial.
A judge ruled Tuesday that Tim Anderson, 42, of Sleepy Hollow Lane, is unable to understand the charges against him or assist in his own defense regarding the murder case against him, according to The Advocate.
Since his arrest following the March 23 beating of his mother, Mary Ann Anderson, 76, in the Sleepy Hollow Lane home they shared, Anderson has been held at the Garner Correctional Center in Newtown.
