Stamford Man Killed in Fatal 2-Car Crash in Bridgeport
The crash occurred early Sunday, and the car that hit him was speeding, according to police.

Bridgeport, CT - A Stamford man was killed early Sunday when the car he was driving was struck by another vehicle traveling 100 miles per hour on Main Street in Bridgeport, according to police.
The identity of the deceased driver had not yet been released pending notification of next of kin, reports the Stamford Advocate. According to police, in addition to being from Stamford, the man was in his 20s.
Police expect to file charges against the speeding driver as authorities gather more information. That driver's identity also has not yet been released, but he is a man in his 60s who also suffered injuries in the crash, according to police.

The crash occurred at about 4:30 a.m. near St. Vincent's Medical Center.
