Stamford Mayor Announces Birth Of 4th Child
Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons released a statement Tuesday on the birth of her fourth child.

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons and her husband, Art Linares, announced on Tuesday the birth of their fourth child, Lily Elizabeth Linares, who was born on April 28 at Stamford Hospital.
"We are overjoyed to welcome Lily Elizabeth Linares to our family," Simmons said in an emailed statement. "I am grateful for the incredible care of the doctors and nurses at Stamford Hospital during this time. Her three big brothers were excited to meet Lily, and we can’t wait to bring her home."
Simmons posted a photo to Instagram Tuesday with her family, saying in the caption that Lily weighed in at 6 pounds, 14 ounces.

"We are over the moon!" Simmons wrote in the photo caption. "Her big brothers are already taking great care and loving their little sister."
While Simmons is away, Board of Representatives President Jeffrey Curtis is serving as acting mayor, pursuant to the City Charter.
