Stamford Mayor's Wife, School Teacher Passes Away

STAMFORD, CT—The office of Mayor David Martin notified the public that Martin's wife Judith Martin passed away.

“It is with immense sadness that we inform the public of the passing of Judith Martin, the Mayor’s wife and a teacher at Northeast Elementary School in Stamford," the office said in a statement. "Mrs. Martin passed away this morning after a long battle with cancer. We ask that you keep the Mayor and his family in your prayers. Funeral plans are being finalized and will be announced shortly.”
