Stamford Mourns Loss of Joseph Comunale
Two men have been charged with Comunale's murder in New York City. He was a popular Westhill High graduate.

STAMFORD, CT—City residents are mourning the loss of a Westhill High School graduate who was murdered in New York City.
Joseph Comunale, 26, went to the city with old college friends the weekend of Nov. 12, according to the Stamford Advocate. The Hofstra graduate had been to the city several times in the past.
Friends and family recalled him as a well-liked person. He graduated from Westhill in 2008 where he played hockey and baseball. He then graduated from Hofstra University in 2012 and moved back home to Stamford.

He worked a sales job at Tri-Ed, a security products company where his mother works. He played in adult sports leagues in Stamford and frequently worked out at the Sixth Street L.A. Fitness.
