Stamford Offers Residents Free Mobile Bottle Redemption
Stamford has partnered with EyeRecycle, a traveling mobile redemption center that hosts pop-up events throughout Connecticut.

STAMFORD, CT — The city of Stamford has announced it has partnered with EyeRecycle to provide residents with the opportunity to redeem 5 cent deposit plastic bottles, cans, and glass bottles for cash.
EyeRecycle is a traveling mobile redemption center that hosts pop-up events throughout Connecticut to redeem residents' bottle deposits.
The pop-up events will take place at Mill River Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following dates:

"We are excited to partner with EyeRecycle to provide residents with an opportunity to redeem their plastic bottles and cans," said Mayor Caroline Simmons in a news release. "I want to thank Dan Colleluori and the city’s recycling and sanitation department for their work on this pivotal initiative."
