Stamford Police Announce Memorial Ceremony, Associated Road Closures

The Stamford Police Department will pay tribute to fallen heroes during a memorial ceremony. There will be road closures in place.

STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Police Department announce dit will hold a police memorial ceremony in front of headquarters at 725 Bedford St. on Monday, May 12 at 5 p.m.

Headquarters will remain open during the ceremony, however, parking will be limited.

The following road closures will be in place on May 12 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Bedford Street will be closed from North Street to Hoyt Street
  • Entrance to Dolson Place from Bedford Street will be closed

Residents should plan ahead and use alternate routes during this time.

"We appreciate your patience and support as we pay tribute to our fallen heroes," Stamford Police said.
