Stamford Police Department Welcomes New Officer Into The Ranks
Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons administered the oath to the new officer on Monday.

STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Police Department welcomed a new officer into the ranks on Monday.
Sean Kanganis was sworn-in by Mayor Caroline Simmons. Kanganis comes to Stamford from the New York City Police Department, where he worked for nearly three years.
The SPD said in a Facebook post Kanganis will spend the next few weeks with the training division before he gets assigned to the patrol division.
