Woman, 36, Found Dead In Stamford Apartment: Police
Stamford police said they responded to a condominium complex on Woodside Green near Scalzi Park on Tuesday night.

STAMFORD, CT — Police said a 36-year-old Stamford woman was shot and killed Tuesday night at an apartment complex on Woodside Green.
A man was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a firearm.

The Stamford Police Department is investigating the death of a woman in her 30's at a condominium complex on Woodside Green in Stamford.
Capt. Richard Conklin of the SPD called the incident "isolated," and said the community is safe at this time. He noted that one person is in custody on unrelated charges.
According to Conklin, officers received a call at approximately 9:45 p.m., Tuesday and responded to the Woodside Green condominium complex, which is near Scalzi Park.
"A tremendous amount of Stamford police resources have been utilized in this investigation, which has been ongoing throughout the evening," Conklin said.
