Stamford Principal Announces Resignation

STAMFORD, CT — Rippowam Middle School Principal Jason Martin announced he is resigning form his position to take a job as a high school principal in Floral Park, N.Y.

"As many of you may or may not know I live in NY City with my wife and three young children," he said in a message posted to the Rippowam school website. "Frequently, my wife and I contemplate decisions that we feel will benefit our family and place us in better circumstances. This is one of those decisions and one that does not come easily."

The final working date for Martin is being worked out and an interim principal will take his place for the rest of the school year with the intent of finding a permanent principal during the spring.
