Stamford Public Schools Closed Feb. 28 Due To Snow
Tuesday will mark the first snow day of the school year in Stamford.

STAMFORD, CT — Due to the impending snowstorm, the Stamford Public Schools District has announced that all schools will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 28.
Snow is expected to begin in Stamford around 8 p.m., Monday, with snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.
A winter storm warning has been issued for Fairfield County and snow is expected to mix with rain on Tuesday by 11 a.m., then turning to just rain.

There is a special election taking place in Stamford on Tuesday for the 148th House District. Polls will be open from 6 a.m., to 8 p.m.
Polling locations are Domus, K.T. Murphy Elementary School, St. Bridget’s School, and Stamford High School.
