Stamford Public Schools To Hold Distance Learning Day Friday
The district has announced all Stamford Public Schools will transition to a distance learning day Friday "due to the weather."

STAMFORD, CT — The district announced Thursday evening all Stamford Public Schools will transition to a distance learning day Friday "due to the weather."
The announcement comes following Wednesday's snow storm that carried over into Thursday. (To sign up for Stamford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
In light of the transition to a distance learning day, "grab and go" meals will be distributed Friday at Cloonan Middle School, located on North Street, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and at Westover Elementary School, located on Stillwater Avenue, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., according to the district.
