Stamford Resident Scores Big Prize From Scratch-Off: CT Lottery

STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford resident is now $10,000 richer thanks to some luck and the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won the grand prize after playing the Lucky Corners scratch-off game. The ticket cost just $2 and was purchased at the BP gas station at 59 W. Broad St. in Stamford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

There are just three $10,000 winners out of over 1.1 million tickets of the Lucky Corners game, the Connecticut Lottery website notes.
