Stamford Resident Wins $40K Prize From Scratch-Off: CT Lottery

There are four $40,000 winners out of 2.5 million tickets of the game, according to the CT Lottery website.

STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford resident is now $40,000 richer after playing a scratch-off game from the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won the big prize from the 200X scratch-off game, which costs $20. The ticket was purchased at a BP gas station located at 1324 E. Putnam Ave. in Old Greenwich.

According to the CT Lottery website, there are four $40,000 winners out of 2.5 million tickets of the 200X game. The grand prize is a $1 million annuity.
