Stamford Resident Wins Big Prize, CT Lottery Says

The winning ticket was purchased in Stamford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford resident has won a big lottery prize after playing a scratch-off game, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won $50,000 from the Diamonds & Gold game. The grand prize for the game is $1 million. The CT Lottery notes there are just seven $50,000 winners out of 2.8 million tickets in circulation.

The ticket was purchased for $30 from a gas station located at 582 Newfield Ave.
