STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford resident recently won the grand prize after playing a Connecticut Lottery scratch-off game.

The resident, who is anonymous, won $10,000 from the 10X Cash 17th Edition game. According to the CT Lottery website, the ticket was purchased in Norwalk at A-Z Variety and Cigars at 607 Main Ave.

There are 225 grand prize winners out of over 5 million tickets of the game, the CT Lottery website notes. The ticket costs $10.
