Stamford Residents Split $100K Prize: CT Lottery

STAMFORD, CT — Two Stamford residents are splitting a $100,000 prize they won from playing the Cash5 lottery game, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The winning ticket was purchased at East Main Convenience, located at 1051 East Main St.

Overall odds of winning Cash5 are one in 72.1. The overall odds of winning Cash5 with "Kicker" are 1 in 12.1, the CT Lottery says.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
