Security Specialists, Inc., a leading systems integrator and full-service solution provider of dynamic, high-performance, integrated life safety, electronic security, video surveillance and communications systems for commercial and residential clients, today announced the promotion of Valentina Monroe to account executive. She will report to Security Specialists Director of Sales, Kimberly Kissell Rescigno.
In her new role, Mrs. Monroe will have primary responsibility for establishing long-term strategic relationships, providing partner and customer training, and accelerating the Company’s “smart-growth” strategy within the residential and cybersecurity markets.

Mrs. Monroe joined Security Specialists in 2013 as office manager. Since that time, she has served in a number of key operational and support roles, including spearheading the Company’s new market initiatives within the cybersecurity arena. Prior to joining Security Specialists, she served in a number of retail management and sales positions with Starbucks and Bluemercury.

A lifelong resident of Fairfield County, Mrs. Monroe is a graduate of the King Low Heywood Thomas School in North Stamford and attended Denison University, majoring in psychology.
