Stamford Teacher Accused of Sex Harassment Resigns
The teacher was accused of sexually harassing a student in 2013 and a female colleague in 2008.

STAMFORD, CT- A male teacher who was accused of sexual harassment by a student and later a teacher resigned.
The teacher was at Academy of Information Technology and Engineering and was most recently on paid medical leave, according to the Stamford Advocate. He was teaching a course at Norwalk Community College.
Interim Superintendent James Connelly said the Board of Education investigated the medical leave after he heard more details and the teacher subsequently resigned.

The teacher was accused of holding a 16-year-old female student against a door and thrusting against her in 2013. Department of Children and Families found the actions didn't constitute abuse and a judge ruled a prepared warrant wasn't enough for an arrest.
The teacher was transferred and was going to go back to AITE, but a female colleague complained that she had repeatedly been sexually harassed in 2008.
