The Superchargers are NACS-enabled, meaning they can serve not only Tesla vehicles but also other electric vehicles that comply with the North American Charging Standard. The charging site is expected to benefit local EV owners as well as drivers traveling along the I-95 corridor.

According to the announcement, the project includes upgraded electrical infrastructure designed to support the high power demands of the Superchargers without affecting existing power systems at the mall.

The Superchargers are situated near the mall's retail, dining and entertainment offerings, giving EV drivers the ability to charge their vehicles while visiting the property.

A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for August, with representatives from Tesla, Stamford Town Center, and local officials expected to attend.
