The city's Internal Auditor, Teresa Viscariello, is conducting the review.

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford's government is undergoing a review of its purchasing and hiring policies following the arrest of the city's marina supervisor for alleged embezzlement, writes the Stamford Advocate.
The review is being conducted by the city's city's Internal Auditor, Teresa Viscariello, who was asked by the Board of Finance this week to report on the scope of the project which will cover a five-year period to 2018.
Last month, Sean Elumba was charged in connection with the alleged theft of $60,000 from the city. Officials questioned how such an alleged crime could happen, and how Elumba, who has been arrested before, was hired.
