Stamford Wright Tech Mourns Loss of Student

A 15-year-old student became ill suddenly and passed away last week.

STAMFORD, CT—Students and staff at J.M. Wright Technical High School are mourning after the sudden loss of a 15-year-old student.

Students honored Kaydriene Aristhene, 15, with a moment of silence and by wearing purple ribbon pins, according to the Stamford Advocate. Purple was her favorite color.

Kaydriene was a Norwalk resident and was in the culinary arts program. She suddenly became ill Oct. 21 and was rushed to the hospital where she later passed away.

State Police are investigating because it involves a school funded by the state, but there is no criminal or suspicious aspects.
