The school recently hosted a "FUN DAY" event.

STAMFORD, CT — During a FUN DAY event on Sept. 21, students and staff at Stamford's Hart Magnet School helped raise $1,820 which will be donated in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Stamford Public Schools officials announced.
"Staff and students were able to wear a hat to school to help raise awareness and money for WhipPediatricCancer.org," officials stated. "This organization donates all proceeds directly to Pediatric Cancer Research at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City."
